Hi guys, im kinda new to wc3, i tell u that already, but iv been playing cs for a very , very long time.
A few days ago iv started to follow wc3 scene, and im rly kinda starting to like it.
also a few days ago i ordered "Warcraft III: Reign of Chaos" & "Warcraft III: Frozen Throne" games.
Now why , iheard that the whole wc3 scene is playing frozen throne and to play that u also need warcraft III rog.

now could u guys give me a few advice's just to start pretty well.
ill ask u a few questions if u can and will, answer them please :) thnx in advance.

well.. lets start with the race's
1.is it all balanced? or do you have the weakest.
2.how can i play without inserting the cdrom?
3.are there any configs etc? if u like to play with Z S D Q etc..
4.how does a hero system work? how important is he?

or just..

5.How to become a skilled wc3 player?

That would rly help me to start a good journey.

yes u will ofc need both cd-keys.

1. every race has their advantages over other races... Night Elf having most advantages though...
2. latest patch will require no CD to play :)
3. customkeys you can edit it yourself ;)
4. hero is just a basic thing to make/go it'll be like in cs 1.6 playing against opponents without armor + without ammo or go knife only... its just stupid if you dont have a hero :P a hero can make a big difference in a battle with equal armies ;)
5. hmm practice 24/7 and watch replays :D

I dont think so. Did you ever tried a strategie besides raider walker grunts kodo vs whatever may come? Try to supirse nelf with mass air or a good placed towerrush. Only because it doesnt work well on pro gamer lvl it can be very effective in ladder. Stop whining, start playing!

Oh, a Hero with Orb owning low-hp units....thats the pure imba....
Just as imba as Blademaster owning Archers...

DH is imba, but UD countering 60sup wyvern with 2 Fiends+Coil/Nova/Orc is ok ?

1. Doenst matter. In Low-Hp the balance is completely different anyway. Orc is pretty strong there but will start to suck at a certain lvl f.e.

3. use customkeys.txt
4. heros are supposed to completely f*ck up the countersystem of warcraft. They are very important. High lvl heros counter the enemy army. Units won`t.
5. Replays (war3.replays.net) and ladder for the start should be good.

needs to be faster, have evasion aura, constant immolation and how come mana burn costs mana? -- thats just stupid

Try all the races, stick to the one you like the most. Try every units and come up with strategies. But hell don't watch too many replays, no one needs an other random orc/elf/Hum/UD. Be unique!

balance changes from time to time. choosing race because of balance doesen't make sense. sepecially since you need some time to become good enough that balance issues affect you. most ppl just love to whine like pro's do, to make them feel better when they lose.
so: choose the race you [i]like[/i] the most!

Its true what some ppl say in here. The best thing should be ofcourse what race u like the most ;)
Some people suggested to me that NE was the best to start with which I did, but NE doesnt suit me and so I switched over to ORC and played orc ever since that.
My point here is, that if u think u can play the best with Hu go human if u like orc go orc etc...

After u choose ur race the best thing would be ofcourse to learn the basic build orders :P
