Defend is buged

Defend

Activate to have a 30% chance to reflect piercing attacks upon the source, and to take only 50% damage form the attacks not reflected.
while defend is active, movement speed is reduced to 30% of normal speed.

this is what defend is supposed to do however i have noticed it also got an other skill that is to simply just block the shot and not return it back but still take 0 damage from it, i believe that this other block that don't return the shot also got about 30% too happen and so defend is 30% + 30% to take 0 damage and 50% reduced if you are lucky enough too get trough all of that, this is only a theory but i did make a replay in costume game with the help of creeps and some cheats too speed things up, take a look for yourself and see what you think.

Defend is just complete bs, have no doubt it's bugged.

 

i tested this and count

i used footman and archer
archer killed herself while attacking footman with 97 shoots

46 shoots was received by footman (47 %)
31 shoot was reflected and received by archer (32 %)
20 shoots was "reflected" and disappeared (21 %)

I think these 20 shoots should make damage and it is a bug.

 

Those 20% reflected damage should return damage back to the attacker...

51 shoots reflected and received by arcger 53% lol ? :)))

 

Defend is ridiculous anyway. Worse than magic immunity cause units actually kill themsleves when attacking.

Compare 10% damage return to 70% immunity and 30% damage return.

a level 1 panda can't kill all footmen before the towers are up.

 

Yes, because the panda is immune to magic and normal damage and you can bof 50 times for 30 units to die. Smaert.
