TOPIC

no manner top5

and the photo from the night before rocked...

Every body knows the chatlog of Elakeduck against Insomnia. It was hilarous and because he is "A RETARD", I think he dieserve the top position of bad manners!

I remember a part of one of their chat logs during a ladder game I think where Inso says "I wonder how you look in real life" and Duck responded "UGLY FAT NIGGA , WHO ELSE WOULD STILL PLAY ORC" or it smt like that , but it was just hilarious !

haven't been in the war3 scene today but if i can recall....

1. Grubby (calling someone's mum with aids and cancer isn't even funny, and i still remember after his loss against an orc in ladder (who tower rushed him with FS+FL) he showed some really bad manners)
2. ToD (bitching about the door / air condition, pathetic)
3. Gostop (i wonder will he pull out that "cheating" excuse if he defeated sky in WCG)

the following are not "bad mannered" but they are players who i dislike

Madfrog (after WEG, "i'm quitting", *few days later*, "i'm returning" *inactive for a few months*, "i'm back!" Now he's back again...betraying his fans)

LK696969 (well he's not that badmannered as you can see his flames are 99% exaggeration)

2. ToD (bitching about the door / air condition, pathetic)
Its about manner rofl, before each tournament he asks admins and say to them he can't play when its too hot.
3. Gostop can be 3rd just because he said Sky was cheating, can he?
The one about Madfrog... n/c

its not*

GoStop insulted Sky in front of many people observing them playing on stage.

there's a ambiguous line between being aggressive and impolite, and I think the former is exactly what is required in a good player.

think about it guys im not a grubby fan but him arguing a few years ago could have just been a lakc of maturity, after all hardcore progamers dun really have sociallives/socialskills, so the net is there zone to dominate.

Minor point, learn English seriously..Talking about 'manner', 'Grubby have bad manner!!!', can you butcher the language anymore?

Main point, it's very easy to sit there and lay criticism on these players. But I doubt many of you are actually real fans, how many have traveled to see them play live, buy the jerseys of their teams and support them? Downloading demos and whining on forums doesn't make you a fan, not by a long shot.

I personally love these types of players, Grubby and ToD are one of the few Warcraft III players who continually give good interviews, and they're much more interesting to follow. The whining and 'bad manner' makes them more human!

you should make a difference between a complaining which got a point and a pointless whining caused by I-again-got-my-ass-hardly-kicked-now-I-have-to-blame-the-whole-universe-because-I-am-teh-best-player-in-teh-world-of-death-and-I-lose-only due to Imbalance , Sickness , Imbalance , and again Imbalance even if I had lost to an Undead with 3:0 on sv/gw/lt

and btw , don`t blame people for speaking bad english , this is not their mother tongue , and I really don`t think that you would do much better in french/german or whatever other language

'and btw , don`t blame people for speaking bad english , this is not their mother tongue , and I really don`t think that you would do much better in french/german or whatever other language'

Redundant point, but in this case, is it so hard to say 'bad manner(s)' instead of 'bad manner'?

I don't honestly see that many professional gamers complaining about imbalance in all fairness, in fact I see lots of interviews which state that the higher it goes (skill) the more irrelevant the race becomes. Look at Afreeca Warcraft III League Season 3, three undead and an orc finishing in the top four.

Your other point is kinda irrelevant too, or idealistic. I mean, do you think footballers don't whine when they lose?

http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/teams/m/man_utd/7286112.stm

I remember Arsene Wenger saying that a player who committed a foul on one of his players shouldn't be allowed to play football ever again. He later apologized and retracted his comment, but it shows that people do and say things they normally wouldn't in the heat of the moment. I would never punish or hold it against them, this is what makes good admins and tournament organisers and what will advance eSports to an extent.

good points evan thumbs up, and now your on it, i bet most of the people saying 'grubby bad manner!11' are probably way more bad mannered, than grubby & tod and so on, so i think its quite a sad opinion some of the guys have. ofcourse it is not all the people who said so, whos bad mannered, but you can easily tell whos bad mannered, just out of a few posts @ sk forum.

SevenOfDiamonds shows his advanced retardation by flaming evan cuz of his arguement while, showing his bad manners calling(him a fat ass) and i really doubt you have anythign to contribute to this forum discussion except dissing other people.

I would actually punish such behavior. In the example you gave the player has somehow managed to sustain controll and act reasonable and Wenger didn't. Some do, some don't and Grubby is one those who are ridiculously arrogant little bitches who think he's right about everything.

'desperatly flaming' I merely stated it was a redundant argument. If Carmac published an article with loads of mistakes, do you think if someone (a native English speaker) criticized him, he would say, 'oh...it's my second language, so it's okay'? No he wouldn't.

Just for the record though, I've been taught French and German. Can't speak any French anymore, but I'm learning more and more German every day, because of a lady! xD

Danke mein freund!
