cod4 spray or pray?

Am i right if i say that cod4 is one big spray and pray game?

I watched some ''professional fragmovie'' of fnatic team and it rly looked to easy for words..

ur so wrong man here... if u don't have aim u wont kill a big duck in cod4, but also u need lot of teamplay on this game :p

I haven't played the game much but at some public server all you had to do to be top score was to take the M4 and run around in circles with the mouse1 pressed. But that was public.
I guess games are progressively getting less about the individual, kind of like society.
Fucking collectivist assholes.

agree rKos =d

i think they are abusing the fact that the new CELL technology is new, everyone wants to see the very nice graphics first and dont look so much to the gameplay anymore, so they get more money rolling with just making a nice graphic game, with a shit gameplay ( not pointed to cod4.. ).

later when this ''new technology'' to make this ubernice looking games gets '''normal'' such as u find the ps2 games etc almost ''ugly'' now they will HAVE to get a good game with good gameplay again.

atleast, on Consoles this game is shit, i played it, auto-aim crap..

ofc its shit on consoles :P

dont base your opinion on those fnatic fragmovies ;P

well the kills werent even so uberspecial, but yeah im used to see v good kills on CS, and v good kills on cs are kills from ppl who play years and years xD

Thing is with SMG weapons in closecombat its quite spray ye but its alot more movement then in CS tbh. For example in CS u cant really run or jump and shoot while in COD4 u can because of ironsight etc. Its alot of spray but not the kind where u think u dont have control over it. Its alot of skill aswell but more movement then aim in SMG fights.

its spray and pray

aim and pwnjobye

It's out outplaying someone else.. no use holding the trigger if you don't know where to shoot..

yea true, but in cs the enemy stay crouch, even is he "run" this is much slower then cod4.

cod4 is more a mix of quake and cs for aim. in quake u have 0 recoil, but is hard to aim because this is fast.

i sometimes play with a vgood COD2/cod4 player he been in team NL for a few times on cod2 aswell and he also says cs IS a harder game then cod4, on cod4 if you have ur aim right u just shoot and always hit , on CS u gotta keep mastering the the recoil what makes it harder

How can a PvP game be harder than another? It's only as hard as the enemy players are.

cod4 is nearly as skilled as my skillherald was in season2

You learn the basics, recoil etc. I've never actually tried out PCW's though. It's a huge advantage if you have a lot of experience in another fps game. But as told in answers above it's relative easy to learn. One thing that bugs me is close combat with Sniper, I often hit my enemy without the zoom if they are pretty close (say you meet each other when you go around a corner), but they won't die from it (if they have juggernaut). I mean, who the fuck survives a sniper shot from the distance!

also cause like every year a new CoD comes out, it just seems to be useless to even start with the game

I played CS for 6 years before I started playing cod4 and it's true that in CS the aim is much more important than in cod4. But as cod4 is such a fast based game teamplay in terms of fast info and rotation comes into play. You guys who have just played public can't really comment since you havent played the game with promod/against good teams. I like cod4 alot more than cs cos its so fast based and i just love the movement aspect in the game. No, you can't be a cod4 pro fast.

ye i did notice that, cs is more oldskool, also pretty small maps which makes brains, tactics, and aim very important, on cod it's the movement that's so important, cause you can peak in all different ways
