hi, im actually pimping my config and i just wanna ask a simple question, what do you perfer in cod4, a .cfg with all special not needed extras ON (like lights, high textures etc) or do you perfer a smooth resolution like 800x600 and no special details on.

most gamers use settings a lot below the defaults, there's a couple of cfg's going around the scene what from people customize their own (YITCH, NeX etc)

I myself am using highly customized YITCH3.cfg (google it)

Depends on your needs mate. If u just play for fun id say good looking graphics and activated details arent wrong but if cod4 is serious business for you and you wanna play competetive then i would reommend you to play with the resolution you like and as less details as possible...

less details = clear sight and good overview if you are in hard situations :)

true, but i actually think 'i didnt waste my money to play a game and it still look worse' .. but i use drawdecals 0 'n stuff as well, but um.. what resolution r u usin, and what kind of monitor, regards

ive just downloaded the YITCH3.cfg and wow, amazing cfg, everything is in low detail and just awesome, iam using 1680*1050 and everything looks so amazing clear thats awesome, i think i changed my opinion after testing this config, thx to teemu :)

800*600 = oldschool lol :D a high resoluton is a must be!

wow thats pretty low i guess i wouldnt hit any enemy with that resolution

I dont see any disadvantages of using 640*480 so I dont care..

nah its like 'too low' coz i just tested the res 640* and i played lkike shit on long range
