Cs 1.6 FTW !

i'm not sure...source is not souch a "big" game...1.6 is way over it!! It could happen but i don't think right now and i don't think 1.6 will ever be replaced with source.

1.6 because css isn't so famous like 1.6 (and not better xd )

1.6 powa ^_^
1.6! =) I have had played CSS and did it for a while though I just needed to get used to it but by the time you change from 1.6 to CSS you lose skills or is that just me?
Everytime I change from 1.6 to try out CSS I take out everyone without getting hit once almost, when I turn back to 1.6 then I need to warm up again... Anyhow CSS cant work out with mods such as CS 1.6 on the quality I mean... Short said CSS is too smooth on my opinion where 1.6 on the other site is hard and accurate =)

1.6 forever !!

I hope CS 1.6 will be still Number One in the future.
1.6 no doubt !
ofc 1.6 !!!
1.6!
I don't know what "most events" means to you but there are still lots of 1.6 tournaments, leagues, clans and servers, still more than for Source I think (exept in the USA I guess)

Some data from the ESL
CS 1.6 1on1 EAS: 380 membersm ? Matches/Day
CS 1.6 2on2 MR 15: 1802 Member, 127,4 Matches/Day
CS 1.6 5on5 MR 15: 486 Members, 50,3 Matches/Day
CSS 1on1 EAS: 223 Members, ? Matches/Day
CSS 1on1: 1670 Members, ?Matches/Day
CSS 2on2 MR 15: 80 Members, ? Matches/Day
CSS 2on2 EAS: 96, 1.4Matches/Day
CSS 5on5: -

Here is some older data, 2-4 months old (dunno when I saved it exactly)
CS 1.6 1on1 EAS: 422 Memberr, 14 Matches/tag
CS 1.6 2on2 MR 15: 1260 Member, 100 Matches/Tag
CSS 1on1 EAS: 230 Member, 6 Matches/Tag
CSS 1on1: 1300 Member, 41 Matches/Tag

CS 1.6:
1on1 EAS has increased by 42 members
2on2 MR15 +502 members... dunno if it melted with some other ladder? If that didn't happend a lot of new members joined

CSS:
1on1 EAS has decreased by the number of 7 members
The normal 1on1 ladder got a plus that is really high but still a bit lower than that of the same ladder for 1.6.

CSS doesn't even seem to grow stronger than 1.6, at least in germany (or big parts of europe)
So there is no reason to switch to source
Source is the worst game of the world ]:> :D

true dat
+1 thumbs Thumb Down Thumb Up
CSP would be the best solution
+3 thumbs Thumb Down Thumb Up
CS1.6>CSP>CSS

1.6 won't die. **** all the sources and other crap
1.6 ftw !!
+1 thumbs Thumb Down Thumb Up
Just wait until the new generation comes :(
+1 thumbs Thumb Down Thumb Up

+1 thumbs Thumb Down Thumb Up
Css 1.6 is dieing im the biggest fan of 1.6 but iv just had to see whats goin on and 1.6 is gonna be dead by the end of the year sadly :(
one.six The one and only!
I think 1.6 will never die but the most pros i going over to source now ? or im i wrong ?
But source is so rigid i think but 1.6 is more free !
u r right...a lot of teams goes cs:s
+2 thumbs Thumb Down Thumb Up
proMOD ... NO ! ONLY 1.6 !!!
CouNTer STriKe 1.6 RULLLLLLLLLZZZZZZZZZZ!!!!
+1 thumbs Thumb Down Thumb Up
Counter-Strike 1.6 !!!!~
css
+1 thumbs Thumb Down Thumb Up
1.6 coz source need some work to be done...
ONLY Counter-Strike 1.6
1.6 is slowly dying because the generation that was totally addicted to the game is getting older, less time to play and so on. the new generation has born with way more advanced videogames on the store shelves and don't want to spend their time playing some old-fashioned game such as cs 1.6. it's a big game yet, but is slowly dying.

call of duty 4 ftw! ;P
+1 thumbs Thumb Down Thumb Up
Counter Strike is better it`s simple
+1 thumbs Thumb Down Thumb Up
omg I Wanted to say Counter Strike 1.6 ;)
+2 thumbs Thumb Down Thumb Up
1.6 until the end of 2008 i think
+1 thumbs Thumb Down Thumb Up
Source is gradually taking over :) number of events for 1.6 is dropping like flys so...
+3 thumbs Thumb Down Thumb Up
that comes from the Assisten General Manager of a CGS team. what else should you say...
+0 thumbs Thumb Down Thumb Up
not really radical...
+1 thumbs Thumb Down Thumb Up
its called an opinion, sorry nick I just find when looking at events with 1.6 in now days there aren't that many :/ I could be a dustman too "carium" and still have the opinion so shh.
+1 thumbs Thumb Down Thumb Up
well its true that there aren't as many as there were a couple of years ago, but i can still see 1.6 around until at least the end of the year
+1 thumbs Thumb Down Thumb Up
well, if you wouldn´t believe in source, you wouldn´t be with this team. your answer was quite obvious
+1 thumbs Thumb Down Thumb Up
lol maybe I believe in the progression of gaming which is what I see the CGS doing? Please don't try and speak for me, because you really wouldn't have a clue.
gj Radical

guys, even if CSS sucks imo, we can't deny that's it's part of the future of esports. Even if players from coL already stated it's "a broken game", people go where the money is.
-1 thumbs Thumb Down Thumb Up
yeah, you are really hard to understand...
+2 thumbs Thumb Down Thumb Up
lovE cs 1.6
1.6 of course, there is nothing for source except that cgs farce.
+1 thumbs Thumb Down Thumb Up
which totally owns any other project in esports? :D
