I really tried to do something for female gaming scene,I started to upload CS demos from female teams on www.SoGamed.com but female players didn't support me!
I mean they didn't try do give their good demos to me.As i said i tried and i did something special for them,I got some of very good in-EYE demos form best female players and uploaded them but i don't know why female players don't like to help me more ...

Off course female gaming should be promoted but only if it's succesful, which doesn't mean you have to beat the male topteams but you have to take it serious. If you really want female gaming to be accepted you have to see it as a kind of "esport" and not as "looknmeet". And off course this means that you should pracc a lot to show that girls really are equal to boys when it comes to gaming.

Gotek, this topic is not about girls to be equal to boys when it comes to gaming. It's all about boys thinking gaming is a typical guy thing... Why wouldn't there be a female esport scene? I mean, there are female soccer teams too right?

Thing is tho, womens soccer is HORRIBLE to watch. It seriously blows so freaking much. The skill level is not up to par with what u consider being "professional". When i was 16 my team beat the number one ranked womens team in Norway by 7-1! i mean cmon, lol!

in the future yes, but since like 95% of the community are boys they don't have a chance at mixed tournaments.
But in time they will develop more skills to become better. But its like you have 2 chickens who run both fast. If you give the 1 chicken a few years ahead the other chicken will never catch up :p

I have worked to a couple of communitys, and I have said that they should have one Female team, I lika that girls play E-sports too! And i want to moore girls will play E-sports, like #01 said, it's moore and moore girls play E-sports! please, take the girls home to your house and let them try!

females cant get on the same level as guys unless they get that killerinstinct feeling ingame,
or if they play alot with guys so they can adapt their ladyway of playing to that of a man which is alot more agressive and accurate, but ... with good practise they can get there

Well, like a year ago, we did some matches against ME-Ladies who were respected back then, but imo, they really sawked at CS. So if the girlscene wants to get respected, they should get respect for their skills, not for their looks or so.

Female gaming is still so rare it continues to remain a novelty, only the ESWC really supports a serious female tournament but aside from that there are very few opportunities for female CS teams for example to compete.
The whole arguement over looks/skill is down to e-sports (not gaming) being a male dominated sport, the reality is if a girl was horrendously ugly but could pwn at CS or WC3 she would suffer so much abuse it would be unreal. Sex sells as they say, we can see that from the Iron Lady 2 tournament, E-Sports is still a business, and its a business that wants to make money.
If Heaton or Madfrog was a Quazimodo clone I doubt they would have so much adoration from all their fans, the fact they are good looking as well as skilled makes men want to be like them.
All it will take is a few role models such as perhaps the players from IronLady or some SK.CS ladies to bring more ladies into the scene. If the male population supported female tournaments instead of moaning that they are low skill then the exposure would increase as well as the female player pool.

The mainproblem is that there aren't many female players and therefore it is difficult to find a team or girls to play with for the few female players. And what about a mixed team? apperently guys aren't open for that.... to bad

The thing i do not appriciate, is the poor kids on sk-gaming, who are changing their nicks, photos, even sex option to get more friends or something (more visits) and to play what kind of actor ? (fuck the drama) Just be you're self and dont try to do things u got no engine for! So my advise to the wannabe's is, dont act the way u are NOT and be cool!
