Hi there! I just thought I'd post a couple of ideas/suggestions for the new site and mention what I think is great/not so great
+ The design, I think it looks really clean and smooth, I like it.
+ The little number that appears when you have a new GB message for example, stuff like that looks nice
+ The reply system for the comments, it's really useful
+ The box with our latest actions
+ The similarities to facebook
- I think you should re-add boxes for scene/coverage news with only the titles/flags/games showing. It's MUCH easier to browse through and select what you're interested in and what you haven't read it. You could add those boxes above the current news display and have them match the color of the "matches" box? For me this is clearly the most important point, I honestly don't think I'll come here for news if it stays the way it now is. The old system was really perfect and I think you could nicely bring it back here :)
- In the comments, the blue horizontal box around your nickname is in my opinion too large (vertically). To be honest I think it takes too much space. Also, there's no need for the pic of each user.
- The thumbs system, also because it hides comments too fast (when it reaches -1)
- The profiles: you really should include a section where we can write about ourselves! Hopefully it will come soon :)
- The fact that we can't edit/delete comments, hopefully this gets changed. Editing comments is really useful.

I'm going to give a quick example of why edit is useful: I'd already like to add a few things in the original post and I can't :p
- the flags don't look as nice as the ones we had previously or even the old, square ones (which were the all-time best imo)

Well, we still need to watch around a little bit, find our way through. Not necessarily bad, but ... different. Hope most people agree with me.

- There should be a away to go back to the sub-forum
- There should be a way to see in which thread I have posted and not just others. In my profile this is replaced by Friend's Actions
- But the profile looks good so far.
- Groups are a great idea, but there will be many in a few day. There should be a way to search for a group, or they should be a little more organized into "Themes"
- Forum-HTML will be available in the future?

Yeah like I said I think it's a solid ground and a lot of good stuff can come from it. But imo it needs a few tweaks, especially regarding the news display.

My suggestion to you, bds, is to add a link when someone posts a thread, so you can click the makers name and enter his profile.

Uploading pictures (Doesn't matter in which pic size / file size) doesn't works. It seems like it uploads the picture, but ends with no response. Only the "back to album"-link is available. At the end, no pictures has been uploaded.

You guys should definitively reset or deactivate the thumbs up / thumbs down feature in the forum as long it will be displayed in the profile. In my opinion it kills the whole board, as no one really use that feature with care and serious postings get masses of red thumbs.

There's a big but empty rectangle in the header :) placeholder for future banners? Why not using the black sK one from the first leak screen as placeholder, that would look really cool.

I think the news in little rosters w/o pictures just an icon of the game was and would be much better. The profiles must have more info like the old sk and editable! The 'Members' thing must deleted the ones who r the most online and u should make a ranking like the other one, for exemple that u see the 100 most famoust people, u shouldn't add postcount ( will only add spammers more imo ) and most friends is kinda useless too, u don't have to delete it just make it like the most active find it out urselves! And about the SK-Insider, is that still possible on this site? If yes what do we get more? I think u should add it again if u didn't yet, it's always cool to get a chance to play with pro's and have their help at forums etc.. I would delete the FRIEND actions and make it like "UR OWN ACTIONS" so people can see what u do if they want and don't get spammed by all the bullshit their friends do..

I have to say that I like the page and they did a pretty good coding job with everything which is implemented yet. There seems to be no difference with 5 or 5k users online on the page.
Suggestion to bds:
The header and menu seems to be pretty static so how about using styled ul's or dl's instead of all the floats? :)

I found out it's able to upload pictures on your galery if they are not larger (file size) than 70kb (jpg).

Put a higher limit, I mean every good quality picture need atleast 200kb ( like the old one )or even more in .jpg 640x480

Also when you click on the servers link at the top right of the page, it takes you to a 404 error page which i believe just tells us the page doesn't exist yet cause the file can't be found ;)

I just checked in the website to see what and where and suddenly at 6:00 AM I wake up with this. So I start checking around curiously.
For starters, I do understand the beta-version concept but I wouldn't have launched this as an alpha. It is clear that the website is far more better seo-based developed but are the expenses worthy? I do not known to what point SK-Gaming.com needed dig-it and so on as it was way too popular for that.
So basically they took all our pride and joy and sacrificed it on tags, dived contents, design and SEO.
My honest advice: call it a preview and get more into it before announcing a beta to such a high-scale community.
