I'll point out the significance in the results you mention, you still didn't win shit. Does it matter that you had some luck in your drawing? Yes it does. We both still lost to Brazil (in 2002), except you lost 0:2, whereas we lost 1:2 and we were leading.

2006 you beat Argentina on pens, we managed to beat them in normal time in 2002. You did well, but still got beaten by the best teams, just like us. You've the fortune of being able to say, we finished 2nd or 3rd, congrats.

Why not mention Euro 2004, when you got bummed in the group stages? Oh, would that be too objective for a German?

i like the premier league, the teams are all good, but this does not make the english national team good! i also like gerrard and lampard and some great english players, i don't "hate" england, but as you can see year for year, their national team sucks.

LOL, I mention comparable results, which you in fact started. We won against Argentina, so did you, the difference was we did it in normal time. You lost to Brazil, so did we, except we lost 1:2, instead of 0:2.

The national team doesn't suck, don't be an idiot, I'm realistic and know that they're not great, but neither is Germany. Does it matter that you may be ranked one or two places higher than us? No, we both still don't win anything, and we're both in a slump (talent wise).

just gave said that germany isn't in a 'slump talent-wise' if you see their current roster, it's full of talented new players... and compare 2006 roster to 2002, it changed a lot.
and 2006 germany won against portugal 3:1 which kicked england out 3:1 and germany lost to italy 0:2 but these 2 goals in minute 117 and 120...

yes, i said by my self that england has great players, but the team is not better.
they even wasn't able to qualify for euro and their latest results in any championship were not good!
germany has the better team (see the results for the last ~3 years, since klinsmann is their coach), but no real star (since i don't think ballack is that important).
btw no good players? I don't think you have any knowledge about football, sorry. there are several players, any football fan know that they can play on top level.

3rd/4th place play off is very important! We didn't lose 3:1 though, we lost on pens, you can't even read scores right. We played with 10 men for the majority of the second half (and extra time).
