Has anyone heard of Microsoft's new mouse, the Sidewinder?

Looks quite promising despite the red color and the weird side buttons. It still apparently left a positive note to itself within the review.

The shape and the buttons on the side are strange, but the amount of options makes it attractive. Is £40 good for a mouse? I can't remember how much I paid for my MX300 bought years ago. Not the same kind of mouse though.
