Quite surprising that they switched back to the older Quake, just a bit worse for spectators since it's old grafics :P
But I think that many players like that.

And DotA as a game for the ESWC? There was an article on readmore.de about dota and why it didn't became a more famous e-sports game yet. The main reasons the author listed were that the games begin quite boring but become a bit confusing later when the real action starts. But I think that good commentators might catch the atmosphere of dota better (if there will be any live commented dota games)

Quake 3 was always fun to watch and dota!

I would have hoped to see Q4, feels a bit weird to bring back an earlier version of Quake in to action, but I rather want Q3 than the new FPS games. UT3 is for example way too slow. PK Overdose is a joke :S

Sad for Q4, but really.. I think all the decent players at Q4 wont mind.. Q3 is possibly the best fast FPS game tbh.
