I needed an e-mail address and I tried "nightmare" which was obviously taken, and i didn't want to use any numbers or a hyphen or an underscore so I took "nightfoal" (a nightfoal is a baby horse, so basically my nick means little nightmare)

mine was taken from my firstname (not the fullname ; russian version) and put into english letters (the sounding, not the spelling)

I was pretty uninspired when I was playing random FPS back in '97 / '98
When I started to play Q3 (right after it's release in Dec '99) I decided to stick with it.
(only went through some changes like CAPS only, @ a, 3 e, lowercase
