it's not everything about the mouse but sometime does. for example if I get this mouse I would play on 1 in Windows because it will be very fast.. Currently I am playing on the 3-rd with 1800 :S

well... i hav a logitech G5, 2000dpi, but i use 800dpi... if i was buyed a mx518 i'll use the same sens that i use today... but i choose the g5 cus the design.
i think u can buy any mouse with the possibility of change dpi, since the mouse be what u expect

Just to clarify a big misconception that a lot of people seem to have: having 54397643543 dpi on your mouse will not turn you into an elite player. Practice makes perfect and keep in mind that many of the professional gamers haven't upgraded their hardware in years and instead use what they have been accustomed to using year after year as their stuff has been proven reliable.

Hm hell 4000... what is that good for? Not for CS at least, there are so perfectly aimed shots that there will barely needed more precision, someone who doesn't hit at all just needs some practice an a ping below 200 =P
