Well I think this site is much easier then the old one.

dont fix something that isnt broken would fit this change quite alot, the previous site was just fine, this is overkill in my opinion.

The idea behind the new site and a lot of the functions aren't all that bad, you are on the right track with most of the new technical stuff. However, at the same time most of the stuff looks pretty bad at this point and I'm surprised you changed the old layout so much. Feels like SK made the previous site a standard layout when it comes to eSport sites (which means it functioned well and is widely liked), but is now lacking and trying to catch up to some of the other popular eSport related sites.

Tons of bugs and some of the basic functions are still not working properly, but the thing that mostly bugs me is that a lot of the new ideas that have been implemented to the site (for example the new comment system / negative thumbs lead to not showing the comment etc) haven't been carefully thought out both visually and functionally.

Just look at this forum post and the comments, such a complete mess. The thumbs system is being abused ridiculously by giving negative thumbs to pretty much everything said here, without much thought into the actual contents of the comment. Clearly it's not working as well as it ideally would :) I don't know whether that is because of the general intelligence of the random "CS teen" abusing and spamming minus thumbs or because of something else, but it aint pretty for sure.

Too tired to write a complete list of my thoughts, too much to say for now and some of the things I got listed on my head will probably be fixed fairly soon anyway. Hope the site won't be this messy when you guys manage to roll out of "4.0 beta" :) Hey, I like the footer at least (though you could vertically align the logos more precisely heh).

People have put a lot of time into this site.. what people have to understand is.. yes, it has it's issues now. But It looks a lot like other good sites out there. The look is good...

If you guys just gave them time to change the bits you asked them to, everything would be a lot better off. This is why I get so mad at some of the gaming community.. have patience, please! :)

I think it's just about acclimatisation, we all were accustomed too long to the old design :)

one of the things that pissed me off was that i lost all the friends i had, i lost my 2 squares, and just when i was just about buying insier for the 10th time, this happens.

Just a quick note/suggestion to bds:

Fix/change the new comments page so that it directs to the page where the first new comment is. Right now it just takes you to the start of the thread, so you have to search for the new comments yourself. Small yet useful feature :)
