he won't be able to change the us problems too much. i think that ... for the begging he must solve the problem with the american banks and then to improve the political relations that us has.

Imo he would change more than what mcCain would did.

Props to a very skillfully done campaign. Obama seemed to be way superior to Mccain in terms of intelligence and rethorical strenght. Now it will be interesting to see if he's also capable of leading a superpower.

I was really happy when i saw black american were crying in his victory speech and all around america. the dream of martin luther king comes true. Everybody are happy, me and my family that live in california and my 8 years old cousin in san francisco, all are really happy for election result.

I saw his speech live at Grant Park yesterday, and people in Chicago were just crazy about him. So let's see if I saw and heared the speech of a man who's gonna change the world there, or if he is just another American politician failing. Considering the $110 I spent on the ticket to get in, I'm hoping for the first.

well $110 to see one of the greatest speaches from one of the greatest speakers of our time in a history defining moment was surely worth the money yeah?

@half-right: yeah, well. he's truly a great speaker, however, it remains to be seen if he can live up to what people expect from him - being america's messiah. so by now, noone can really judge if that was a defining moment in history. i mean, i'm hoping for it of course..

it was a defining moment simply because he's the first black man be voted as the president of america, hopefully he lives up to his promises and becomes one of the greatest leaders of our time... :D

Congratulations to Barack Obama. I did vote for him and was extremely happy when they announced that he would be the next president. As for myself I am hoping he focuses on the financial situation first then of course to bring our troops back home and begin a withdrawl from iraq. I know alot of countries have troops in iraq/afganistan and I wish them the best and a safe return home to where ever they are from.
