The ESL Extreme Masters III Global Final gathers the best teams from all around the world in Counter-Strike and World of Warcraft. This will be where the European teams will meet the best of Asia and America to compete for not only glory but also 200,000 US Dollars in prize money. The European teams have been determined by the Continental Final Europe being played three days before the Global Final and have a total of seven teams attending the tournament due to European teams winning the ESL Extreme Masters Stops in 2008.
