It's obviously been very apparent that Ola "elemeNt" Moum has been some what 'unattached' from the 4Kings team over the past few months.
Probably the most obvious case was when he had to be replaced by Antti "mysse" Larte for the UK CPL World Tour Stop - because he missed his flights from the US. With Ola still living in the US, it has obviously been almost impossible for him to train with the other team members for their upcoming events - which is probably the main reason for his departure from the team.
It may or may not have been obvious for some to see this coming - with a player on one side of the Atlantic Ocean, and the rest of his team on the other, it's doubtful that anything could be achieved. With this, we see the departure of Ola "elemeNt" Moum from the 4Kings Counter-Strike team.
Below is an extract of the official press-release from 4Kings - which can be found in full here:
"It is with great regret therefore that we announce the decision to remove Ola from the line-up due to logistical reasons. With Ola's recent move to the United States it has become increasingly difficult to prepare for upcoming tournaments and events. Despite Ola's excellent track record as a player and in-game leader, we had little choice but to make our decisions as it stands."
Element is renowned for his in-game leadership, and overall mastery of the game. He has played for many famous and top teams in his long and award filled career, including eoLithic, SK, NoA, Made in Brazil and now most recently; 4Kings. Though he is still a talented and young player, it seems that he apparently doesn't really have many major plans for the future, though hopefully we'll be seeing him around sometime soon.
This move has obviously added another spanner into the works for 4Kings - over the past several months they have seen quite a few players come in and out of their Counter-Strike team. So again, they'll probably be a new player in the 4Kings line-up sometime soon, having to get ready for their next tournament - CPL Winter.
The current line-up for the 4Kings team now stands as follows:
Keir "aKuJii" McCann
Marc "Mangiacapra" Mangiacapra
Joona "natu" Leppanen
Jonas "GoodFella" Virtanen
It will be extremely interesting to see what both elemeNt and 4Kings choose to do next - but whatever they both decide on, we wish them the best of luck!
