Earlier today CSGN announced on their website that their CS squad threw in the towel since two of their main players decided to leave the team.
Since the rest of the players didn't feel like recruiting two more they decided to fold. With Adam "AdY" Brown and Zak "kardy" Matthew leaving the team there were rumours about a new top UK team was about to start up with other top players.
That rumour has now been confirmed since All The Rage has announced that they have started up a Counter-Strike team with top players, all known from previous top British teams.
This new team will have a six man lineup and Team All The Rage are happy to announce these guys as their players:
Reece 'ZaG' Bullers
David 'duck' Pratt
Zak 'kardy' Mathew
Stuart 'Harriman' Harriman
Adam 'AdY' Brown
Paul 'ShaQ' Shackleton
The players made an annoucement on their new website which you can read below:
It feels great to be back playing in an actual team again. More importantly it feels great to be in something that we have started from scratch and know that everybody wants the same thing and knows what is going on!
Obviously we're going to keep our goals realistic and not aim too high, but hopefully those goals will change with time and practice. As for the future, I’m not going to predict anything, will just have to see how things turn out.
This is what the management had to say about their new team and plans:
The team has been put together with people that know each other or indeed have played in the same teams at some stage in the past together. The players have the hunger, drive, and commitment needed in order to take full advantage of this situation, and fulfil the high potential we believe we have here.
The management team aim to provide the team with what is necessary to compete professionally, and to travel to LAN events around the world.
There will be further statements released very soon in regards to sponsorships and our current plans, but without further a do the atr organisation is.
For a long time there hasn't been a UK team that has been good internationally since 4Kings has had a team with players from different countries. If this team can make it or not is for the future to decide, we wish them best of luck!
