Recently, the WC3L announced that fnatic will take over 64AMD's spot in the league. Now, we might see another such announcement coming up soon as the Italian based Play.it has recruited all the players from Team Ownage.

In addition to the Ownage players Tharkas, SjoW, DeliCato, anTy, and Zubie, Play.it has picked up three more well-known players: The former Ownage player Zerter, the Russian ex4x-player Abver and the Finnish old-timer eNvious.
"With this lineup we think we can reach our high goals in the next season of the WC3L and the league that will follow the last season of MCL," says the manager Christopher "rukie" Pawlowski in the official statement.
He also reveals that the team is planning to recruit two more players to further strengthen the team, and that it is not 100% certain yet whether they will be allowed to play in the WC3L. Though with the fnatic decision, it will be hard for the admins to deny them that right.

How sad ... here I thought Play.it would recruit a top-line-up, and then they go recruit a mid-table team, even one that was already in the league. Oh well, sounded too good to be true anyway . . .

That's really funny i think we are a team that can compete and Ownage reached with their odl lineup already a seventh place in the first wc3l season so our espectations are not too low.
But Asjo you seem to be really deep inside the community

# 53 - Well, I wanted to see a new team of great strength. No doubt the team is decent, but not great. Also, the takeover means that we don't see any new faces, just the ones already there.
