The King of PK Interviewed *Update*
Carmac from Global Gaming League has released another interview that will undoubtedly catch the attention of readers. If you are wondering who Carmac has interviewed I'll give you a sample. Eleven LAN events, ten victories and fifty-five thousand dollars won -- someone would have to live under a rock so as not to be able to guess this is about Sander Kaasjager otherwise known as Vo0. Simply unstoppable in PainKiller, the Dutchman has earned himself a place among the very best in the history of dueling by now and he is still looking to improve his record. The interviewer prepared an extensive piece of work and thus divided it into two parts. In the first part the King of Painkiller speaks about his gaming background, his abilities that have helped him to win all those tournaments and his thoughts on the World Tour. As Carmac informs, the second installment of this article will be published on Friday but for now take a look at what's inside the first part.
It is curious that the one that beat the champion in Barcelona usually placed top five prior to that event and kept on doing so after CPL Spain. Why? Sander finds it interesting too: "Good question, I am still wondering about that a lot. I think it was because he was just so in the zone during that tournament. He beat players like zyz and stermy (who he usually loses to in tournaments) and he was just ready to take on everyone there. He was playing really well at just that certain tournament and I just wasn't playing in the best shape. I made too many mistakes and he played on those so well that I could not do much against him in those few matches." Vo0 gives much credit to SteLam but it is fair to say that he was not his normal self at the tournament as well. "Spain was also the tournament where I just had hardly any motivation at all in winning as I mentioned in the video interview with you there," he continues. "I had already won so many tournaments that I just really didn't care that much. My practice before that tournament also wasn't really that good, I didn't play at all after Turkey and started with the game five days before the tournament again. So the first game of the tournament I had to play a guy like Ztrider. Known to me, to many others unknown, but I know he possessed (and still possesses) the ability to beat me. That match was really close and I got pretty lucky in the end.

UPDATE
As Carmac promised, the second installment of the Vo0 interview is available. Below you can find a small snippet of what Vo0 thinks about Painkiller's randomness. Found it interesting? The link below this short quote will take you to the whole article.
"Now you can argue with me that it's not as random as everyone thinks, because the top is always the same. That's true, the game isn't as random as everyone thinks. But all the real top players (in my opinion Fatal1ty, zyz, stermy, SteLam, Ztrider, gellehsak and I) can all beat each other. And the middle tier players can also all beat each other. But a middle tier player beating a top player -- that just doesn't happen that often. So once again, I have various views on this game and about its randomness. It's certainly not totally random because, like I said, the top is still the same. And yes, I really would like to see changes made to the game, but it doesn't seem like it's going to happen so everyone just has to accept it and game on. It's what I've been doing as well."
