After leaving SK Gaming earlier because he was benched from the active team Jonas "calc" Gundersen has now joined a new squad. It is no real surprise to see him join x6tence seeing as he knows most of the players from an earlier experience he had in Spain when he also joined up with them to compete at ESWC 2004 where they lost to SK in the groupstage. calc will be replacing DeV1 who recently left the Spanish side which is already qualified for the upcoming ESWC Finals. The lineup in the future will look like : MusambaN1 DrastyK milicua FlipiN calcer Keep on reading for an interview with the man himself and the official press release from x6tence.

When did you get into contact with x6 ?
I was actually contacted a few weeks after CPL Spain by MusambaN1, who told me they would very much like me back on the team if something happened in SK. Besides that i've known them ever since i played with them last time, so it was no quincidence. Things didnt work out in SK obviously, and here i am
Will you be moving to Spain or will you be playing with them online ?
Before ESWC all will be online, and after i will move for a few months to Barcelona. It's gonna be a great experience to live in another country and feel the culture on close range.
So this is not just for ESWC then. Will you be sticking with the team for a long time or is there a certain event you are aiming for with the team ?
Definately not just for ESWC. This is hopefully a long term solution, of course except for WCG where i will probably play with a danish team (unless im cut again!). The future plans looks very promising within x6tence.AMD, and i can only be happy when i know the plans for the next 6 months
Hearing about all your plans and travel experiences it doesnt seem like you will be missing the SK team ?
Of course i'll miss the guys, but its not like its the end of the world. Things worked out this way, and they've got a really skilled team now, which i believe will do what we could'nt with the old lineup. At the same time im playing in another international competing team, so i'll see them all the time at events. Even though we're not playing together anymore, im still really good friends with the guys, and i'll be at the danish ESWC qualifier with some Di Niro support for them, so we can meet in France (Tablefootball practice for me and spx!)
Any last shoutouts ?
I just wanna make it really clear once again that there is no hard feelings between me and the SK guys, even though alot of sites tend to believe so. I wish the best for them, and im sure they wish the best for me to (ellers irl)! Thanks for the one positive comment i got when i left SK, I WONT FORGET IT WHOEVER YOU WERE!
Official Press Release :
That's it, after announcing the departure of DeV1 we promissed that shortly after we would announce who would be the fifth player to complete the team.
Jonas ‘calcer’ Gundersen, of Danish origin and 22 years old, has been a player of which we have been able to agree upon to close the spot as the fifth player of the team.
Today you will be able to see him in action in the ESL Champiopns League match where we will be opposing a-losers.MSI. So the incorporation of him is immediate, and shortly he will come to Spain for a better preparation for the numerous tournaments that are around.
The gamer, that has already had a stance in our club and has been playing in clans such as The Titans or SK-Gaming has a few words to share for all:
“It feels really good to be back with the x6tence guys. I've missed playing with them and I believe I've found a great combination between social and ingame skills with this team. Looking much forward for the times to come with this team!”
Official statement of the club:
For x6tence.AMD its a pleasure to count with a player with the qualities of Jonas. We would like to keep clear that the addition of calcer will not just be a temporary solution. He is a planned addition because we knew with time that DeV1 would leave the team beforehand and we saw that the best choice was calcer to substitute him. We would also like to add that the negociacions with the player have been fast as well as cordial.

x6tence have always been a good clan with a level of sucess compared to most other clans. They seem more motivated atm, and this addition should add a level of ambition to the team, that is going to make them much more competetive in the international scene.
#144, you cannot determin from results that are so out of date (one year is a long time), how the outcome is going to be now. There have been changes in both teams and therefor the comment isnt very "usefull" kindoff like saying that "the first NiP team" was going to win everything cause when they were SK.swe they did too... and weve seen different.
