As you might not know, Global Gaming League decided to host a big tournament named "The VSports All-Star games" which will be held at the E3 Expo in Los Angeles, California on May 18-20. Everyone who has registered on the VSports All-Star website got the chance to decide which players will face each other in a clash between Europe and North America. After the annoucement of chosen players, Counter-Strike fans started to speculate who will win this match. Just as a reminder, here are the lineups that will play in the All Star Game:
North Americas:
Griffin "shaGuar" Benger (Team NoA)
Mikey "method" So (Team NoA)
Danny "fRoD" Montaner (Complexity)
Kyle "Ksharp" Miller (Team 3D)
Justin "sunman" Summy (Complexity)
Europe:
Emil "HeatoN" Christensen (Team NiP)
Ola "ElemenT" Moum
Dennis "Walle" Wallenberg (mTw.ATI)
Jonas "Goodfella" Virtanen (4 Kings) (replaced -NiP-Hyper)
Jorgen "XeqtR" Johannessen (Team NoA)
Today, GGL's very own Carmac published yet another interesting article. He tracked down some of the chosen players just to ask them what do they think about each team's lineups and what their predictions are. From the Europe lineup he asked currently clanless elemeNt and well known player, walle. From the other side, shaGuar and Gotfrag's editor in chief, Jason "Anomoly" Bass speak their minds.
Here are two snippets of what you can find in this article:
"I know both teams will give it their best so it'll be one hell of a match I think," said walle. There is a common conception in Europe that Americans rely on individual skill more than Europeans. This is said to be a factor that could give them the edge this time. "If they still do that, that might raise their chances, but at the same time it might not, since relying on individual skill is relying on having a good day every time. So if we start out well, win the gun round, they might not be able to get going." Griffin "shaGuar" Benger, the number one pick of the fans in the poll, does not believe in a skill difference. "Old wives' tale, the skill gap is gone, the skill of players like Snajdan, Spawn, ahl dsn and walle can match up against that of any American CS player's... The game should be interesting. The outcome depends on the map really, we have a really AWP oriented team with myself, Kyle and Danny on the same team, it'll either make or break us... It also depends on if Mikey's on, because if he is I don't even wanna be in the same server with him and I'm on his team, makes me look bad.
[...]
We have also asked Gotfrag's editor in chief, Jason "Anomoly" Bass about America's chances. "I would pick the European team if I had to bet money," he said. "I just think they have all the pieces to make a solid team. They have strong leadership and all the bases covered for weapons. Not to mention they are some of the best at their positions in the world, let alone Europe. I believe the leadership and play of Element and Xeqtr will be key to the European victory, but with these ten players how can you go wrong? Due to the fact that it is a pug type format, it allows for both teams to have an equal chance of winning and anything can happen. The American team can give them a run, but if I have to bet my money is on the Euros. It will be a great event to be sure."

UPDATE:
Right after the announcement of the VSoprts All Star lineups, one of the players from team Europe, Daniel "Hyper" Kuusisto (Ninjas in Pyjamas) has stated that he won't be able to participate in the all star Counter-Strike match which will be held at the E3 Expo in Los Angeles due to personal problems. Global Gaming League have found a great replacement for Hyper in another Swedish player, Jonas "Goodfella" Virtanen (4 Kings). Other lineups stay as they were before. The first All Star matches will be played at E3 on Wednesday.

I think there are highly overrated player(S) in Euro lineup
anyway i don´t think sunman should be there
plus ...where the hell is spawn ?? c´mon ...he is cluth
anyways it will be an interesting game with some mad skillz imo :)
btw i agree that mouz players could be in there, but with an all scandinavian lineup they wont have any comunication problems, but if there was a german player there he wouldnt understand anything the other ones are saying :P
