Destrukt Retires From Gaming

By Andrei 'hancu-' Hancu

After a long history in both Unreal Tournament and Counter-Strike, Brian "destrukt" Flander decided to move into the PainKiller scene as it became the 2005 World Tour game.

Although he had multiple successful CPL stops, Brian decided to put his gaming career on hold, staying in Check Six as an inactive member. Brian hopes to take advantage of his new career in the "real world" starting immediately, so he has generously asked for his VSports All Star Game spot to be given to fnatic's gellehsak.
Scroll down to check out his statement below:
Over the past few months I've had the opprotunity of a life time. Rich and check6 gave me the chance to do something many gamers would give anything to do. However, I have now been given another chance of a lifetime, an internship to start a career. Since I will be beginning a career with my degree from school I'm afraid gaming will have to take a back seat. This also means that I probably wont be able to attend anymore stops on the world tour which also means it will be pointless for me to continue playing painkiller. With that said I want to say thanks to the PK community for being so awesome and I'll look foward to seeing all of the great friends I've made at the summer CPL event where I will most likely be playing CS.
I hope VSportsAllStars will hear my last request to have Gellehsak take my spot in the allstar games. He has always been a better PK player then me and is a very cool invidual. Good luck and see you this summer!
Good luck to him in the future, and I personally hope he will come back soon. For more information check out the new Check-Six site simply by clicking here.
