Pentagram 1st Anniversary + Movie
Two days ago, the Polish powerhouse Team Pentagram celebrated their 1st Anniversary. On 8th April 2004 two of the best and most successful Counter-Strike clans, Spec.Ster and Aristocracy, merged to create the first fully professional clan in Poland. That is when Team Pentagram was born. It was the probably most shocking annoucement in the Polish Counter-Strike scene. Starting with only one, but undoubtely powerful squad representing the clan in Counter-Strike, they managed to create successful multigaming organisation. The clan also consists of Counter-Strike Ladies, Wacraft 3 and Painkiller squads. Nowadays, Pentagram is a big organisation which with support from sponsors became exactly what they wanted.

I tracked Pentagram`zibi down for a few quick questions regarding his team.
Pentagram was the first fully professional clan in Poland. Now, the clan is definately getting more and more recognized around the whole Counter-Strike scene, did you guys expected such a big success? Describe shortly what has changed in team Pentagram since the merge of
Aristocracy and Spec.Ster till today.
In that day, when those two teams merged, we set our main goals and kept on accomplishing them. We have always wanted to face the best teams, win tournaments, promote our country and of course, our clan. From the merge till today our attitude hasn't changed a lot ;)
Give me some insight about your team. Is this the highest class team you have ever been in? What is your relationship like with the other members and how do you like the whole organization?
As for now, it's the best team I had pleasure to be in. We have a great chemistry and atmosphere in our team. Some of players hang out together in real life. It's always fun to go together to a LAN tournament.
Your somewhat underdogged team won ECG Championships beating teams like SK and aTTaX. It seems like your ClanBase EC triumph, where you also took fully deserved first place, meeting the The Titans (SK) in the grand final, was not a fluke. Now you're not considered as a team that is only good online. Do you feel that 2005 year will be more successful for Pentagram?
As I mentioned before, our goals haven't changed. We always want to play at the highest level. Unforunately, one of our players, TaZ, is having final exams in school so we went inactive for few weeks. After that we will be back on track with serious practising and try to show our best at the upcoming events.
Last question, which events can we expect us to see you guys play in 2005?.
Hmm, hard to answer because Polish ESWC qualifiers, which was meant to be held on PGA2005, was cancelled. To this day, there's no company, which would want to pour money to arrange Polish ESWC qualifiers. However we will compete in Polish ACON5 qualifiers, CPL World Tour Germany stop and, if we will get some more suport from our sponsors, you may expect us at the biggest tournaments this year. Peace!
