M19, one of the oldest Russian Counter-Strike teams, famous for finishing first at WCG 2002, just announced that they are splitting up.
A surprising decision since the team made a comeback only two months ago and had great ambitions, here is what their manager had to say in January: "After going inactive, many things changed at M19, but the skill is nearly the same, just better. We are ready to show the world that we are back!"
At least they tried, getting an impressive second place during the CPL World Tour Turkey side event, where they lost to the Norwegian team Catch-Gamer in the finals. Unfortunately, there are no known reasons for this umpteenth separation. Medic has now left the team while NooK and 400kg left and joined another Russian clan; x4team. The two remaining M19 players are:
Malish
Gribov
Here is the new x4team line-up:
Dant1K
vortex
rAdik
R1d3r
g1rla
NooK
400kg
Time will tell if M19 will try to prepare a new comeback or just let the clan die.
*Update* In the meantime d3z managed to get another exclusive statement from the manager of M19, Fidel "Yesy" Lang regarding the current situation of his organization:
First of all let me introduce myself: my name is Fidel "Yesy" Lang, and I am the manager of M19's Counter-Strike squad. In the beginning, our squad was formed in 2001 by highly skilled players with great potential. Since then we have been fully supported all the way by the M19 Internet Caf
