PD4 - wNv 2:1 Catch, coL 1:2 Hacker

The group stages of this season of the World E-Sports Games are soon coming to an end and after the great matches last week we can only hope for more. In this playday we'll be seeing which team will be taking the top spot in Group A - wNv or Catch-Gamer, we'll also be seeing a great game between the top two teams in Group B - compLexity and Hacker.Project. After Catch-Gamer's huge win over the SK Sweden squad in the last playday, they'll definitely be ready to face the dreaded Chinese team of wNv. Both wNv and Catch-Gamer have still not lost a match - and will both be proceeding into the next stages no matter of what the outcome is here. But with Catch-Gamer having a clean sheet - not losing a single map so far in the tournament, wNv could at last be taken down. We saw the 4Kings squad - with their stand-in, manage to beat wNv on de_dust2 earlier in the tournament, and with it being the first map they'll play against Catch-Gamer, things could be interesting. With Catch-Gamer also managing to win against SK Sweden 16:00 on the second map of this game - de_inferno, it looks like the game could already by in Catch's hand. It's definitely going to be a great match! It is scheduled to kick off at 12:00 CET on Thursday. Good luck to both teams! Unlike Group A, the standings in Group B are still not certain - with this match being a pivotal game for the group. Although compLexity have won both of their games so far - and are top of the group, they could still not manage to make it into the group stages - if they lost 2:0 here against Hacker.Project, and if Virtus.pro won their last game against Team NoA by a score of 2:0. So everything is still to play for in this game - for both teams. There should be a lot of fierce competition and great skill displayed in this match, but again Hacker.Project have been blessed with de_dust2 as the second map in the mapcycle for this game, which could spell disaster for the compLexity team. The game is scheduled to start soon after the wNv vs Catch-Gamer match, so about 14:00 CET. Good luck to both teams! Video Streams There are a number of free streams that will broadcast the WEG matches live. Most of them however will have foreign (Chinese or Korean) shoutcasters, the only exception being www.esport.org - which is shoutcasted in English. A list of all streams can be found in this forum thread. But it is recommended that www.esport.org is used. Scorebots As you probably know there is no HLTV for the WEG events. The only two forms of live coverage we can use are streams, and scorebots. The scorebot channel on the QuakeNet IRC network is #weg.live - which will usually provide live scores for all WEG CS matches.
