The announcement of LighT eSports' disbandment is not very unexpected, as the team just recently didn't renew contracts with some players. As Lok-Yin 'KawaiiRice' Kwong tweeted only one player was left with a contract. Therefore some people in the community already predicted the end of the organisation.

Today Duran 'Xeris' Parsi announced the official end of the organisation. Apparently money was not the problem. Due to a lot of different tasks for Xeris, he has a lack of motivation and - what is probably the most important reason - a lack of time. In the statement he also says that he wants to help the players to grow as personalities and give them all the support they need. With a lack of time, Xeris can't see himself getting sponsors and giving the players what they need and therefore he decided to close down LighT eSports.
