A new big Starcraft II team league has been announced today, as a few parties will cooperate to create something new. Eight teams will have the chance to get their hands on a lot of price money. Four teams are already known, four slots still left. Some may have expected
Dennis 'TaKe' Gehlen to make an announcement for a new event, as he recently gained a new partner. The announcement of today is still a big surprise as TaKe announced a team league for Starcraft II. Most big events will only have the 1vs1 modus and won't have a lot of team action.
The Acer Teamstory Cup will have eight teams compete on 14 playdays for the total price money of 20000 USD. Every team needs four players at least and the format will be the "All-Kill-format" in a best of 9 with a special game with the ace player.
Four teams - mousesports, Team Axiom, Team Liquid and Team Acer - have already been invited, while the other four teams will be determined in two different qualifiers. Teams can still sign up for that.
Aditionally the hosts are still looking for casters and everyone can feel free to sign up to try his/her luck. A special homepage will also be created where all the important information can be found.
