ImageAfter an excited Day 1 of Super Week, Day 2 features four more thrilling games among the top League Championship Series North American teams.

Game 1 US Team SoloMid versus US Vulcun

Picks
TSM: Singed, Maokai, Kog'Maw, Taric, Xerath
VUL: Alistar, Xin Zhao, Renekton, Ezreal, Lux

Bans
TSM: Nidalee, Elise, Rumble
VUL: Miss Fortune, Jarvan IV, Kayle

The game starts strong for Vulcan picking up first blood onto Singed. Fighting at Dragon, Singed teleports down from Top, however Renekton was able to run across the entire map to Flash steal away the buff, and assisted a double kill for Ezreal. Things were not looking good for TSM during the mid-game. Time after time, TSM was getting caught from a very scary Lux binding and ultimate combo. Vulcan convincingly triumphed in team-fights around map objectives, increasing their gold lead forcing TSM to turtle. Nevertheless, as the game progressed, TSM was able to stall the game, bringing the gold differentiation from 10k down to even. TSM's composition out-scaled Vulcan in the end, and Kog'Maw's full six item build shred through Vulcan in every late game fight. After catching Renekton out of position, TSM charged for Baron, pushed up the jungle, disintegrated Lux and Ezreal and pushed into the base for the win.

Game 2 US Team Dignitas versus US compLexity Gaming

Picks
DIG: Xin Zhao, Elise, Zyra, Draven, Nidalee
coL: Shen, Taric, Maokai, Kog'Maw, Kassadin

Bans
DIG: Zed, Jayce, Twisted Fate
coL: Singed, Kayle, Diana

Game 2 of the day featured a super aggressive Dignitas. It started with a first blood for Draven when Xin Zhao started his famous counter jungle at Lizard Camp. Xin Zhao's map control was the story of this game, he pretty much lived in Complexities jungle. Before five minutes into the game, Xin Zhao was able to secure two successful ganks behind enemy turrets. The game was completely one sided; Dignitas left no breathing room for their opponents by constantly pressuring the opposing jungle and catching Kassadin multiple times. Dignitas accumulated a 5k gold lead before 10 minutes and snowballed further than Complexity could control. Dignitas pushed down mid with a 12-0 kill lead and improved their win streak to 9 consecutive games beating out Complexity under 20 minutes.

Game 3 US Vulcun versus US Good Game University

Picks
MRN: Akali, Jarvan IV, Lux, Sona, Tristana
GGU: Elise, Fizz, Alistar, Twitch, Orianna

Bans
MRN: Kayle, Rumble, Twisted Fate
GGU: Renekton, Vi, Nidalee

This game was back and forth for the first half of the game, trading kills back and fourth for both teams. It wasn't until a 5v5 team-fight at Dragon, when Sona, Lux, and Jarvan combined to obliterate Twitch, leaving Akali to clean up the rest of GGU in a 4 for 0 trade for team MRN. GGU did not go down without a fight tho, and caught Lux with an Orianna ultimate followed up with a stealthed Twitch. It was MRN's ability to snowball that gave them the win. In a final battle at Baron Nashor, MRN assassinated Twitch and took a 3 for 1 trade, pushed down mid and won the game. MRN is on a 3 game win streak.

Game4 US Counter Logic Gaming versus US Team Curse Academy

Picks
CLG: Jarvan IV, Vayne, Lux, Cho'Gath, Lulu
CRS: Kayle, Alistar, Miss Fortune, Nocturn, Tryndamere

Bans
CLG: Xin Zhao, Twisted Fate, Nidalee
CRS: Shen, Malphite, Xerath

The last game of the day started strong for CLG when they invaded Golem Camp and secured an early first blood onto Tryndamere. Although it was neck and neck for the majority of the game, CLG proved to be the greater, capitalizing on objectives and taking the small advantages to accumulate a mid-game lead. In numerous 5v5 team-fights, trades were even 1 for 1, however CLG was jumping onto the follow up turrets and Dragons pushing their lead. Curse's Kayle landed some impressive ultimate's, but even their clutch plays were not enough to stop CLG's onslaught. CLG pushed top lanes Inhibitor and took a 3 for 0 trade, then pushed for the win.
