GSL 2013 Season Up&Down groups released
As routiniers of the Starcraft II scene already know, there are always some Up&Down matches between two seasons of the GSL, as it has to be determined, which of the players will go to play in Code S and which will go to Code A. One result is already known - without any match being played.

As routiniers of the Starcraft II scene already know, there are always some Up&Down matches between two seasons of the GSL, as it has to be determined, which of the players will go to play in Code S and which will go to Code A. One result is already known - without any match being played.UPDATE
Good news for all the fans of
Ilyes 'Stephano' Satouri, as he will play his Up&Down match and will still travel to Germany to attend the IEM WC. Apparently there was some confusion about travel plans, as Evil Geniuses twittered.
One might even call it habit, as the Up&Down matches ensure some entertainmanet between the seasons in the GSL in Korea. With the first season in 2013, which is also the last in Wings of Liberty, nearly ending (one Zerg player in the grand final, other player still has to be determined), it is time again to see, which of the players will play the first season in HotS in Code S and which will play in Code A.
In the last tournaments Zerg players were attending in great numbers, but in the Up&Down matches only eight Zerg players have to play, meaning that most of the Zerg players are still in Code S (or Code A). Nine Protoss players and eleven Terran players line in to complete the five groups.

As one can see, the groups seem fairly balanced regarding the races. However, the community can't really decide which one is the "group of death". Groups C and E are handled as the two candidates for that group. All groups will provide some great matches as it appears.
Ilyes 'Stephano' Satouri will not play his Up&Down match due to a schedule conflict with the IEM World championship. Apparently he is already on the plane at the time where his match was scheduled. Therefore he was forced to decide and decided for the IEM WC and to forfeit his Up&Down match.
