In light of faltering performances and individual inactivity, Natus Vincere has announced a re-shuffling of their Dota 2 roster. Joining the fray are Gleb 'Funn1k' Lipatnikov and Kuro 'KuroKy' Salehi Takhasomi.Following a suggestive Twitter message from Natus Vincere Chief Executive Officer,
Alexander 'ZeroGravity' Kochanowsk, modifications have been made official to the roster of the Dota 2 team. After approximately a year and-a-half of being an active member of the team,
Sergey 'ARS-ART' Revin was removed from the roster yesterday, due in large to the inconsistency of his in-game performance. Replacing him was former
Team Empire player
Gleb 'Funn1k' Lipatnikov. The changes did not end, however, as
Dmitry 'LighTofHeaveN' Kupriyanov has announced his inactivity, citing real-world obligations. Filling this void is departing
mousesports star,
Kuro 'KuroKy' Salehi Takhasomi.
While the additions of Funn1k and KuroKy to a generally stable roster may have a certain shock factor, the changes have relevance, considering the players' history together. Funn1k, for example, has some recent history playing alongside the other Ukrainians on the team in the mix all-star roster of
UA'shechki . KuroKy, on the other hand, has long been considered one of the closest professional players to Na'Vi captain
Clement 'Puppey' Ivanov, with their exploits having made headlines from their tenure with
Nirvana Int. This reunification holds great potential, should they repeat their success from 2009 and 2010.
