Today, ESL released the list of the top 12 teams during the 2012-2013 season, who will compete for the crown at CeBIT.Only a few weeks are left until one of the biggest treats for every League of Legends spectator arrives! The IEM World Championship is one of the ultimate proving grounds for the elite teams.
Both groups are more than packed and by the looks of the line-ups, they will definitely produce breathtaking plays.
Group A may not be as star-packed, but will definitely provide us with long-awaited grudge matches! The top tier of European League of Legends will clash as Gambit Gaming will face Fnatic. CJ Entus Blaze will be seeking revenge for their defeat at the hands of the Russians at
IEM Katowice. Blaze, together with their country mates - LG-IM will be looking to dominate and restore their Korean pride once more!
The all-star teams definitely promise an explosion of awesome games! We're not devoid of grudge matches here too! EG will be onto CJ Entus Frost as the former were shown the exit by the Koreans at the Season 2 Grand Finals in October 2012. Our very own SK will have to prove that they are on the right track with their strong LCS performances and show their best at CeBIT.
Reapered's team - SKT1 will be under pressure to repeat their fantastic run from Cologne where they stomped the competition and left no doubts as to who deserved to be crowned champion.
With such teams in attendance we can't wait to see who will walk away the first place and all the bragging rights! The IEM World Championship will take place between 5th and the 9th of March in
Hannover, Germany.
