With the release of a surprising statement it is now certain that two of the Korean players from the Starcraft II roster of fnatic will leave the organisation. Beside that, the closure of Korean SC II operations, the opening of a new training house and new members have been announced. The two well known players from Korea, the Terran player
Lee-Seok 'aLive' Han and the Protoss player
Hak Soo 'Oz' Kim, are no longer part of fnatic, as the organisation will leave Korea for now and shift the focus back on Europe.
It was not expected that both players will have to find a new home, but with the closure of the gaming house in Korea and no alternative available, it seems reasonable to end the support. Without a proper gaming house, neither aLive nor Oz would have been able to live and play and therefore it would have been hard to achieve good results. With those two major players gone it is no surprise fnatic will close the Korean SC II operations and focus on Europe again.
aLive and Oz joined fnatic in 2012 and were able to achieve decent results with aLive winning the IPL4 and Oz having good runs at MLG, ultimately resulting in a bronze medal at the Summer Arena.

fnatic won't continue all the support for Starcraft II, so that
Silviu 'NightEnD' Lazar,
Kevin 'Harstem' de koning and
Santeri 'Naama' Lahtinen will still be playing for the European organisation.
The team house of fnatic will be opening in a few weeks and it will be in Europe, but there is not any more information regarding that team house. New players will be joining fnatic as European academy players. More details are to follow tomorrow.
