ImageAfter nine years of activity into eSports, the French organization announced its closure, releasing the female CS:GO troop as well as the five StarCraft II players that represented the structure.

The french organization eXtensive was founded in 2004, and with the pass of the time it became known on the scene mainly due to the continuous growth. Its way started with the inclusion of Counter-strike 1.6, and Source representatives but it wasn't with notable success, even in french territory. Later in 2007, it acquired the status of association bringing in the first sponsors.

At the beginning of 2011, the complications for the organization started, mainly based to the lack of stability on its troops. But none suspected that the story would end like this, as they kept organizing dozens of small tournaments that extended for some time.

In 2012 the Source team made the switch to the new first-person-shooter game, but with disappointing results, firstly being eliminated on the french qualification to the ESWC and later failing to surpass the quarter-finals at the eSports Heaven Prague. eXtensive's situation suffered another hit, when the players composing this roster decided to continue their ways in FR LDLC.

Although the female CS:GO squadron managed to get notable achievements, (the latter was a second place at EPSILAN 10) it is one of the two divisions that are from now on without the support of the organization that close its doors.

At the time of its closure, eXtensive had:

CS:GO squad:
FR Déborah "TORKA" Teissonnière
FR Marie-Astrid "RiMA-" Vayssade
FR Sandrine "MiTsu" Avedissian
FR Marie "Chelxie" Gomez
FR Clara "Cla" Rossi

StarCraft II players:
FR Benjamin "BeNSeN" Duclaux
FR Vincent "Monsteuh" Lao
FR Nicolas "MaSter" Guinard
FR William "SyDe" Rochet
FR Mathieu "MiNiMaTh" Perrus
