piXL unveiled a new tournament, but going against the actual trend the organization decided to include Counter-strike 1.6 as one of the three featured game titles with a total prize pool of $10.822.

piXL unveiled a new tournament, but going against the actual trend the organization decided to include Counter-strike 1.6 as one of the three featured game titles with a total prize pool of $10.822.Although the actual trends run in favor of Counter-strike: Global Offensive, the organization under piXL decided to include Counter-strike 1.6 as one of the three game titles that will be featured in the upcoming event hosted by them. The tourney will take place in the southern city of Malmö running between March 28-31.
Details of the event:
- Participants must bring their own computers.
- The venue will have room for 1,500 people.

1st. $7,730 + invite to next piXL event
2nd. $2,319 + invite to next piXL event
3rd. $773 + invite to next piXL event + hardware
