EMS with $156k for CS:GO in 2013

ImageThe EMS Winter just ended and now, the ESL management revealed details for the CS:GO tournaments in the year 2013. The Valve's FPS game will feature a total of $156.000 divided in four seasons.

Following the end of the ESL Major Series Winter, the management behind the european organization revealed details regarding the tournaments for 2013 in the Counter-strike: Global Offensive discipline. The Valve's first-person shooter title will feature a total prize pool consisting in $156.000 which will be divided in the four seasons of the year. Each one of the tournaments will be have first a online stage, followed by LAN finals.

Also it was announced that the complete event will be broadcasted on the ESL TV with Joe Miller and Paul “ReDeYe” Chaloner as official commentators.

"Two games are about to get the tournament they deserve! ESL and RaidCall proudly present the new RaidCall EMS One, a premier gaming competition based on the ESL Major Series. We raise the bar: The tournament will feature two disciplines in 2013, the first being Counter-Strike: Global Offensive with a prize pot of 156,000$.

Old legends, new faces, CS1.6 veterans and Source junkies will reunite to compete in the first major, regular Counter-Strike:GO tournament. Europe's best teams will compete for an overall prize fund of 156,000 US-Dollar, split over four seasons in 2013."
