WC3L and NGA Ban U.S WC3 Team Au Fait

After being caught sharing accounts in the championship match versus New Age of Craft in the NGA WC3 Pro-League, Au Fait's situation became even worse when the Warcraft Champions League found out about aF doing the same thing in their league during the Season 5 qualifiers against SK.

Germany. (Au Fait won this important match 3-2).
WC3L's final ruling consisted of a complete banning of aF for Season 5. In addition to this, aF's leader iLuSHa was banned from the league for 1 year. Players who were involved in sharing of accounts ( aF_SlowGG, aF_Aether, eTched[pG]) were given a less harsh penalty: they will not be allowed to play in the first 6 games of the WC3L. This will obviously not affect these players since first of all pro-Gaming (eTched's team) did not make it through the qualifier and thus will not be playing the Season 5, and Au Fait is banned. However, if any of these players join a team that is participating in Season 5, these players will not be able to compete in the first 6 playdays.
This all means SK.Ger will have another chance at playing in the 5th season of WC3L. A small qualifier consisting of 3 wars will be held, all games having to be played by the 14th of March (this weekend on Sunday). The format for this qualifier will be round robin. Here are the 3 match-ups:
[pG] vs. WCB
WCB vs. SK.ger
[pG] vs SK.ger
Fortunately, in the NGA final aF was caught before any games took place. iLuSHa, the clan leader, told aF_Aether to play for aF_SlowGG to try and ensure a better chance at a victory. SlowGG was supposed to be playing CADX2-CrAfT, and this was the deciding game in the whole clan war, as the score was tied 2-2. aF was caught, so SlowGG and CADX2 played their game like normally planned. CADX2 won 2-1, giving his team title as NGA first season champions and a $300 USD check.
You can view NGA's ruling on the matter here. In the end, they decided to ban Au Fait from the upcoming second season completely, as well as ban aF_iLuSHa from all NGA events, and aF_SlowGG and aF_Aether will not be able to participate in NGA Pro-League season 2 for any team.
aF_Dragun has since replaced iLuSHa as leader of Au Fait.
Update: iLuSHa today put out a statement on the Warcraft community website that he runs, WarcraftSanctuary. Here is a portion of it, as he confesses to everything that he was accused of. He is also retiring from Warcraft 3 and will be out of Au Fait for good: Most of you know the shit that has happened to aF as result of my action to tell my players to cheat. I take full responsibility for this actions. First of all the player swap in wc3l. The idea was completely mine at the time this happened not a single aF player knew this until after the match was played, so any bashing or anything like that should be thrown at me. Second in nga, i told aether to switch accounts with slowgg this was completely my idea and noone elses. I got way too caught up in winning and decided to cheat so we can win the 300 dollors but the cheat attempt failed, do not blame slowgg or aether for any of this, this was completely my decision. I would like to apologize to the public, to wc3l administrators, to nga administrators about this incident. Most of all i would like to apologize to my teammates as i fuked up completely. I hope clan aF will still stick together through this hard time. Read the full post right here.
