Fnatic announce FragOut League

ImageA new CS:GO league was just announced, this time under the fnatic's host. It is scheduled that the league will see its kick-off on January 27th, featuring eight of the world's best teams on the battle for a $1,500 main prize.

After hosting leagues on the Counter-strike 1.6 discipline, fnatic decided to venture in a similar project but now adapted to the current scene, in Counter-strike: Global Offensive. Full details of the league were released, including the format, the participant teams, the complete schedule and the prizes distribution. Below you have all that information.

Schedule:

Group stage
Group A Match 1 - 27th January
Group B Match 1 - 28th January
Group A Match 2 - 29th January
Group B Match 2 - 30th January
Group A Match 3 - 31st January
Group B Match 3 - 01 February

Playoffs
Relegation stage - 3rd & 4th February
Semi-Finals - 6th & 7th February
Third place decider - 8th February
Grand-Finals - 10th February

Format:
- best-of-one map battles
- First of each group advance to semi-finals
- Second and third placing teams play a relegation match to decide who advance to semifinals.
- Relegation match will be played in best-of-three format.

Prize distribution:
1st - $1,500
2nd - $750
3rd - $500


The squadrons that will be taking part of the league will be divided in two groups of four teams each one. The draw of those groups will be broadcasted live on ESPlanet.TV. Also was revealed that the matches will have english stream, for which DK Niels 'rizc' Topp will be on charge, while SL4M and Tafa will do the same job, but in russian at SL4M.TV.
