compLexity Gaming signs TheStC

ImageLast week when they closed their gaming house, compLexity's management mentioned thinking about hiring new talents for their Starcraft 2 roster. Today they have welcomed Korean Terran TheStC.

When Quantic Gaming disbanded KR Choi Yun 'TheStC' Sik was once again suddenly teamless. The first time this happened to him it was Old Generations, at the time one of the best Korean teams, that was unexpectedly forced to disband. He was picked up by Quantic Gaming but after just a few months he was left without a team again as his new team announced it's disbandment in early december. Now compLexity Gaming has contracted him, hopefully the last stop of his so far unfortunate path.

Recently compLexity Gaming has closed it's gaming house but not due to financial problems but because they intended to spend their money more wisely than in a team house. Management talked about investing in new star players and their first choice was TheStC. With him they have a Code S class Korean Terran who has also made several appearances in international tournaments including MLGs, IPLs and Dreamhacks, making it to the top four four times.

It is likely that he won't stay their only addition in early 2013 as US Chad 'Minigun' Jones and KR Min-Hyuk 'Heart' Kim have recently been let go which means the money from their gaming house is probably not the only extra budget they have at the moment. compLexity might still be looking for more players but as there is no further information available at the moment nothing can be said with certainty yet.
