Squirtle and StarTale part ways

ImageToday StarTale's director coach Won has announced that another star player, Squirtle, has left their team and is now a free agent.

Coach Won stated that both KR Hyun-Woo 'Squirtle' Park and KR Lee-Sak 'PartinG' Won have demanded a bigger salary than StarTale could offer them, leaving both now as free agents.

Although he has not won any major or premier tournaments in 2012 Squirtle has made it to the finals of GSL Season 2, IPL 4 and the Blizzard WCS: South Korea Nationals. By doing so he has not only attracted attention but also truly proven his skill to the international community making him a desirable player for any team. Squirtle himself seems to know what he is worth and therefore demanded a higher salary from StarTale, just like PartinG. After their requests could not be fulfilled first PartinG and now Squirtle left the team.

Although this might sound similar to the story of recently disbanded Team SCV Life StarTale still has many very skilled and famous players, leaving it one of the strongest teams in Korea. If Squirtle, like his former teammate, will join a KeSPA team remains to be seen. So far no further information about what kind of team Squirtle is searching for is available.
One thing is certain though:
There is probably no team out there that would not like to add a player of Squirtle's caliber to their roster so it will not take long until he finds a new home after having played for StarTale since it's very beginning.
