Good news for Starcraft II fans as the Assembly Winter 2013 will not be without their beloved game completely. Despite the clear statement by the organisator of the ROG tournaments, there will be a small tournament featuring Starcraft II.

Good news for Starcraft II fans as the Assembly Winter 2013 will not be without their beloved game completely. Despite the clear statement by the organisator of the ROG tournaments, there will be a small tournament featuring Starcraft II.The hosts of the Assembly Winter 2013 announced a small tournament with 1500 € of price money to win. Only 16 - 20 players will play in a Non-BYOC-tournament. There will not be a lot of coverage and it will not be one of the biggest events in Starcraft II, but at least one will be able to see some Starcraft II action at Assembly Winter 2013.
Eight players will be invited and four more players will be able to qualify via online qualifiers on January 21st and January 23rd. So there will be eight more players, which will add up to 16 players.
The tournament itself will be held on 22nd and 23rd of February 2013 as the Assembly Winter 2013 will take place at that time.
