The heat is on in this years NA S3 Qualifiers. Well respected teams have come together to clash for a spot to represent the North American League of Legends eSports scene. Check out how the clash between Team FeaR Gaming and Meat Playground goes on day 2 of the quarterfinals. After a convincing performance in the semifinals, Team FeaR Gaming looks to secure a victory over Meat Playground in a quarterfinal match on Day 2 of the NA S3 Qualifiers. With high expectations on both sides of the field, who will reign supreme?

The game starts out with both teams looking for blood. First blood goes to MP with an aggressive Ezreal Flash combo onto Sona. Meanwhile, Cho'Gath ganks top lanes Elise with the help of Olaf's massive true damage. MP realizes that they would have to put on the pressure early before FeaR's late game team composition fully developed.
FeaR patiently waited the game out, letting MP take the first four dragons of the game. Yet avoiding risk and consistently countering when MP attempted aggressive moves. With a strong Malphite initiate onto Kog'Maw, winning a 4 for nothing trade, it looked like MP was going to take the match. Elise's dominance from roaming, and Jarvan's excellent counter jungle should be noted in MP's early success.
The turnaround came near 25 minutes when a 4 versus 4 team-fight went in FeaR's favor utilizing Kog'Maw and Karthus for a 4 for 2 trade scouting Ezreal at bottom lane farming. FeaR then pushed for Baron.
For the most part, gold differentiation was similar. For MP, strong initiate onto Kog'Maw was their only hope in winning team-fights. Eventually, FeaR made it to the point where MP's assassination burst damage was just not enough.
FeaR's Kog'Maw was the difference in this game. Zuna's positioning and excellent itemization allowed FeaR to win multiple clutch team-fights, push Baron camp, eliminate inhibitors and push for the win.

Commentary:
With the opportunity to advance to the S3 championships, FeaR comes out strong in game 2 of 3 versus Meat Playground. With an emphasis on mid game dominance and aggressive tower diving, FeaR strikes with a complete opposite strategy compared to game 1.
With a tower dive at 4 minutes into the game, Graves is able to take out Cho'Gath for first blood of the game. Everything was going in FeaR's favor, especially when Shen was able to successfully use his Stand United in aggressive plays.
As the game progressed, Evelynn was waiting for her chance to explode in team-fight opportunities. After helping the team pick up a 2 for 1 trade and dragon, Evelynn was beginning to look scary. The deciding fight in the game was when Evelynn secured a triple kill in an exciting 5v5 battle in mid lane.
Even with the strong crowd control abilities from MP, FeaR was able to consistently capitalize on team-fights, and pressure their adversary into the ground. With complete control, FeaR made a final push at bottom lane securing the victory.
