Three days ago the temporary groups for IEM's first stop in 2013, in Katowice, Poland, have been announced. Now that the Korean qualifiers are finished, the complete groups are set and known. Once again the IEM is very Zerg heavy. The first IEM event in 2013 is going to take place in Katowice and is just about one week ago, as the event will kick off at the 18th of Janaury and is going to be finished on January 20th. 29 000 $ are on the line and every single one of the players is going to show his best.
The groups seem pretty balanced this time as there is not a single group with Zerg only or Korean/foreign only players. Still most of the people will have their eyes on group C as
Man Hyuk 'JookTo' Jo,
Ilyes 'Stephano' Satouri,
Arthur 'Nerchio' Bloch and
Choi Byung 'YoDa' Hyun are going to determine the best among them.
There will be four groups, six players each. Four players are already known in each group while the last two slots in every group are going to be filled by the winners of the open bracket. Check the picture below for an overview of all the groups and players.

Shaun 'Apollo' Clark and

Jarrett Cale will be the analysis host and
Yoan 'ToD' Merlo will be one of the two 'experts' along with
Kevin 'qxc' Riley.
