A few weeks after their disappointing 5/6th place finish at Tales of the Lane, Team Alternate are once again on a string of bad luck.Today the AD Carry of the team
Tom 'Metalx' Latour revealed that they would not participate in the upcoming
IPL5. Following their disqualification from the German ESL Pro Series the organization lost the sponsorship responsible for the travel costs. Despite this, the team will still practice hard for the upcoming THOR Open and IEM Cologne tournaments. Last but not least,
Alexander 'Jree' Bergström will join the gang replacing
Ćukasz 'LeoFromKorea' Mirek who is now searching for a new team.
On the other hand, a facebook post by Fnatic's temporary AD Carry
Martin 'Rekkles' Larsson says that the team's next tournament will be
IPL5. It is yet not confirmed whether or not
fnatic will be replacing
Team ALTERNATE , but as spectators we would definitely not mind one European powerhouse replacing another!
