ImageWhat a match! The champion against the team that just qualified via the "Bring Your Own Computer Qualifier". So will CLG be able to move on to the finals to face fnatic?

Even though the Copenhagen Wolves are not unknown for sure, nobody could probably have expected how well they would do in this tournament.

Game 1

EU Counter Logic Gaming EU vs DK Copenhagen Wolves

CLG.EU: Rengar, Katarina, Xin Zhao
Copenhagen Wolves: Anivia, Irelia, Shen

CLG.EU: Blitzcrank, Cho'Gath, Lee Sin, Corki, Rumble
Copenhagen Wolves: Ezrael, Zyra, Olaf, Maokai, Diana

CLG started their game with an aggresive invade onto the blue buff of Copenhagen Wolves, which ended badly for the Wolves as Bjergsens Diana got picked up by a hook of Krepo's Blizcrank. This resulted in an early lead for CLG and a steal on the blue buff.

Being thrown behind like that didn't really help the Wolves as they got picked up all the time in the early game by an amazing Snoopeh in the jungle while Svenskeren, without his buffs, couldn't make anything happen in the following time.

Against all odds, the Wolves came back with a series of kills against various members of CLG winning some fights clearly. In the end CLG didn't give the game out of their hands though, showing once again that they are in full control of the lategame at every time. They took the baron, nearly aced the Wolves, and as usual won the game after the 45 minute mark.

Game 2

EU Counter Logic Gaming EU vs DK Copenhagen Wolves

CLG.EU: Rengar, Blitzcrank, Diana
Copenhagen Wolves: Anivia, Irelia, Shen

CLG.EU: Ezrael, Lulu, Malphite, Maokai, Lux
Copenhagen Wolves: Zyra, Lee Sin, Corki, Katarina, Orianna

In the second game of the series, Wolves seemed to pick up a much better start, opening the game with a three man gank on the bottom lane when CLG decided to switch lanes sending Malphite for the one versus two. This gank also lead to a first blood for the Wolves with no kills in return. Early on the towers of the one vs two lanes dropped both going down at around 4:30 min.

As soon as the wolves took the first dragon of the game CLG seemed to regain their consciousness and froggen picked up an amazing kill on Svenskerens Lee Sin afterwards. Within the following minutes the game was decided mainly because of froggen using his combo to "farm" Zyra over and over (5 times in total) making himself the impact player of this game.

And again CLG slowly but surely took over the lategame ending the game after a successfull baron-attempt that also led to another trade in favor of CLG who, in the end, did not really drop their guard in a dangerous way at any time, going 2-0 in the semi-finals to face fnatic in the finals now.
