The autumn's qualifiers for the Asus Final Battle of the Year were announced. In this stage, five teams will get a spot in the main tournament that will be one of the last international events with Counter-Strike 1.6 as main FPS game title.

The organizers of the Asus Final Battle of the Year announced the autumn qualifiers for the main competition. The first of the three qualification tournaments will see its kick-off this Saturday, November 10th and will end on Sunday 11th. The second and third will be played in the next two weekends.

Autumn qualifiers details:
Qualifier #1: November 10-11 (2 Slots to the main event)
Qualifier #2: Novvember 17-18 (2 Slots to the main event)
Qualifier #3: November 24-25 (1 Slots to the main event)

-No maximum participants number
-Single elimination Best-of-one system (first stages) and Best-of-three maps in semis and grand final.

As it was previously revealed, two of the best Counter-strike teams of the last years,

Natus Vincere and

ESC Gaming received invitations to participate. Other four teams managed to get a slot in the main event, meaning that the participant's list it is so far conformed by:

The Asus Final Battle of the Year it is scheduled to take place between December 13 and 16 at the CyberSports ARENA's facilities in the Ukrainian capital city featuring a total of $15,000 for the Counter-strike 1.6 discipline.
