It was an American holiday so it was expected to end in several rescheduled matches, which happened. The only matches that were played on the scheduled date were Team 3D versus Green Berets, RoA versus Check 6, and compLexity versus DeadZone. Team 3D, Check 6, and compLexity took a dominating win over their opponents as 3D beat Green Berets 20:10, Check 6 23:07 over RoA, and compLexity 23:07 off DeadZone. RoA being scoreless at this point have yet to show that they belong in the CAL Invite division. Although they are a great team with enormous potential, having a 0-8-0 record isn't reflective upon their CAL Invite status. On a happier note, Team EG became well known by taking 2nd place at this summer's CPL event, and then coming to CAL Invite and losing their first two matches. With that record, their name was starting to receive wide criticism and their name and reputation became challenged. They now stand on a 4-4-0 even record having beat CyberGlobe on Tuesday in a very close match at 16:14. They have risen from the ground to become potential play-off participants, which is a long way to have traveled. Sadly, the Terroarized Gaming Syndicate has had no unforced, or non-forfeit, wins and are literally "sick of losing." They are going up against Gyberglobe today who is also in the same predicament. They are 1-7-0 with 1 unforced win against a very strong team that is 7-1-0, Weekend Warriors. It can go either way for these two teams and only one will come out with a 2-7-0 record and to up their ranks in the CAL Invite league. It is Week 5:1 as we start the end of the mid-season with the map de_cpl_mill.
