DreamHack Winter 2012 LoL Championship announced!

The biggest LAN finally gave out some information about their League of Legends tournament with a $50.000 prize pool. Read on to get the huge update!The waiting finally is over – DreamHack released the dates for their big League of Legends tournament and the Qualifiers. As always, there will be 8 teams: 2 of them will be invited, 4 of them will get added with the Online Qaulifiers and the final 2 will have to play through the BYOC (bring your own computer), which will be played live at DreamHack.
Both Online Qualifiers (Eu West, Eu East) will be played on 11th November and will have a maximum of 256 teams. The registration for the Online Qualifiers is already open!

Where & when: 22-23 November in the DreamArena Extreme.
Tournament format: 2 Groups of 4 teams, 2 teams teams of each group advance. Every match-up in the playoffs will be BO3 with a single elimination system.
Prize pool: 1.: 19.000$
2.: 13.000$
3. & 4.: 4.500$
5. - 8.: 2.260$
