Counter Logic Gaming announced that they're disbanding their Dota 2 team and confirmed the rumors after their withdrawal from The Premier League.

After nine months of playing together, Counter Logic Gaming sadly announced thqt they're disbanding. Rumors started when

Counter Logic Gaming withdrew from The Premier League. The team had a strong showing, placing top 3 in four finishes and getting first place in Fnatic RaidCall's first DotA 2 cup as well as JoinDOTA Masters V.

Official statement from the President and Co-Founder of Counter Logic Gaming, George "HotshotGG" Georgallidis:

"Though the Dota 2 team was with CLG for less than a year, they were able to secure nine top three finishes and three 1st place finishes under our banner. They proved themselves consistently to be a top competitor in the Dota 2 professional scene and will be greatly missed by the organization."

Joakim 'Akke' Akterhall also made a statement about the disband of the team and the organisation, after joining

No Tidehunter .
