World eSports Masters 2012 starts tomorrow

Eight international teams, one big event, a big crowd and even a bigger prize pool: The WEM 2012 is about to start. Want to know a bit more about this huge fish in the eSports sea? We've got your back.Back in 2005 (in South Korea) the first World eSports Games took place. Due to great success, there were more Seasons. After 3 Seasons they were moved to Hangzhou, China. Eventually, they renamed it to World eSports Masters. The WEM is known for the great way they treat their players and for their awesome shows.
The Event will be held from October 23rd till the 28th and the first games will start at October 25th. It's all offline and played in a double elimination (Best of one) bracket, while the Finals will be a Best of three.
The prize pool of a total 100.000 USD is not to be sneezed at:
This year 8 players will participate for SC2 and 8 teams for League of Legends.
